New Music: Kelly Rowland’s ‘Chasing Destiny’ Group Reveals Its Name & Debut Single

We’ve all been waiting for this moment….and here it is. The five girls that were hand-picked by Kelly Rowland on her BET show “Chasing Destiny,” have officially dropped their much anticipated new single titled L.A.N.C.E. The girl group, named June’s Diary– we were thinking more like StepChild’s for the group name!– consists of Ashly, Brienna, Gabrielle, Kristal, and Shyann.

They recently shared during the BET Awards red carpet that they collectively came up with the group name. “June has been a really special month for us. We had a really great spiritual connection in June, even though we were formed in February,” the girls told TS. “And diary is just us telling our story and writing a different page every single day.”

In addition to revealing their name, the group also dropped their new video for their single “L.A.N.C.E”, which means “Lying A** Ni**a Cheating Everyday”. To be honest- we’re not loving it, but we hope this is just a tease to showcase their amazing harmonizing and there will certainly be more to come.
